PCEyeDetector™ 2.0 |
 |
PCEyeDetector
is an advanced Infra-Red Beam Detection Unit for PCEye, designed exclusively at SoftDesignz, which virtually
eliminates any false detection problems found with other alarm systems. It can detect the sensitive
movements of someone moving around or nearby your computer. This is achieved as the result of a
person crossing the path of the beam; at which point, the software PCEye
is activated. The PCEyeDetector is made up of a cable and detection unit that plugs into one
of your computer's serial ports. No setup is required, as PCEye automatically detects the
detector's hardware presence and also checks that it’s working properly. While running the PCEye
alarm system with the detector, you can be rest assured that if the alarm is triggered, then
someone is within 40 meters of your computer. By placing the detector in strategic locations,
you can effectively protect your computer, a single room, or an entire house if placed in the
hallway. Any unauthorized person trying to interfere with your computer, cannot escape the
watchful eye of the PCEyeDetector hardware. |
